We are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst, to support our Commercial and Industrial Equipment Finance and Leasing division.  The Senior credit Analyst will be responsible for the following;

  • Spread financial statements, completing ratios, trend, and cash flow analysis
  • Analyze credit worthiness
  • Determine if a customer is eligible for financing and determine appropriate credit risk
  • Prepare risk assessments and present to senior management 
  • Prepare reports, information requests, credit inquires, PICs, CAMs, QLRs and term sheets
  • Performs industry and geographical research and other due diligence as needed

  • ​Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong problem recognition and resolution skills 
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as in a team 
  • Must be able to formulate questions and address issues/concerns in a team environment and also on an independent and stand-alone basis with the Customer

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements

  • Over 3 years' experience working in a financial institution in a credit role (credit trained) 
  • Broad based experience in structuring bilateral credit agreements 
  • Ability to manage complex credit transactions 
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to read and assess individual and company financial statements, cash flow, industry and competitive analysis and projections 
  • ​Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or accounting; Master’s degree in finance or accounting (preferred)

 

Job Functions & Work Environment:

 

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, telephone, copiers, etc.
