We are looking for a Manager of Internal Consulting.    It is a high profile opportunity working in dynamic, fast-paced environment.  We are looking for a creative, organized, highly intelligent collaborator.    Your projects will be state of the art and will be challenging, perhaps never done before in the industry and you will be in the forefront of the business.     


This position supports a broad range of enterprise initiatives and corporate functions and will be responsible for:

  • Driving internal consulting projects related to business or corporate performance issues, including the evaluation of current process and associated control(s) effectiveness, as well as the delivery of fact-based and actionable recommendations
  • Serving as a communication channel & change agent for assigned projects, ensuring the adoption of cultural shifts, the Bank's Management Framework, and continuous process improvement
  • Leading the continued development and implementation of the Bank's Management Framework by developing, planning and implementing complex corporate initiatives
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities, launch projects, and manage projects to completion and post-completion assessment
  • Reviewing and evaluating content in the Bank's centralized repositories to identify opportunities for effectiveness and efficiency improvements
  • Delivering ongoing development and formalization of frameworks to support the ongoing proactive management of process development, review and controls
  • Accurately report on completed projects, including measurement of improvements

  • Effective communication, clearly and positively engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Team player willing to take on even mundane tasks as well as significantly challenging multi-year projects
  • Natural understanding of the time required for cultural change and ability to choose when to be patient and when to positively influence adoption
  • Knowledge of banking regulations both conceptually and their application
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and create deep relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Genuine emotional investment in your work, and the dedication required to be successful
  • Experienced managing multiple initiatives effectively
  • Excellent work ethic; pro-actively and energetically pursue success
  • Mental acumen with a large dose of common sense
  • Proven ability to "manage up" and promote accountability
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Visio skills
  • Innovative thinker who is able to translate thoughts into actions

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Consulting experience, preferably in the financial services industry with Big 4 or Internal
  • Recent experience driving projects independently while pro-actively engaging with management and other project stakeholders
  • Exceptional project management organizational skills including active communication with stakeholders and delivery of projects on time
  • Demonstrated process improvement initiatives with significant, measurable benefits
  • Innovative ideas that transitioned to substantial shifts in thinking and behavior
  • BA or BS in Business or Finance
