Headquartered in San Diego, California, we are seeking a Sr Portfolio Analyst to join our team.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the proper administration of loan portfolios
  • Assist in the development of several monitoring policies
  • Aid in the implementation of monitoring systems to effectively and efficiently manage credit risk 
  • Understand the credit culture and risk tolerance as outlined by senior management and the Board
  • Mitigate threats against safety and soundness of the loan portfolio and ancillary credit sensitive products 
  • Day to day duties will involve the monitoring of individual credits, borrower inquiries, relationships with outside servicers and facilitating the gathering of essential data

This role will be a Senior lead for our Junior Portfolio Analysts.

  • Ability to manage multiple and/or shifting priorities
  • Produce professional and accurate work under time constraints
  • Excellent decision making, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Great customer service
  • Advanced computer skills including all MS Office systems

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

  • 5 years experience in Credit Administration, Portfolio Management or as a Credit Analyst/Underwriter
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Economics preferred, or equivalent work experience

 

Job Functions & Work Environment:

 

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, telephone, copiers, etc.
