Exciting Opportunity - Entry Level Sales Role, working with our high net worth clientele!


The current scope of the position of a Virtus Bank Relationship Manager, which may be changed from time to time at the sole discretion of the Vice President, will generally include the following duties that support the Virtus Banking Unit:

  • Pro-actively solicit new high net worth relationships; retain and expand relationships with our existing high net worth clientele
  • Generate $6M in new client acquisitions each quarter
  • Develop a network of industry professionals (attorneys, CPAs, other Private Banks etc) for referral purposes
  • Perform outbound sales activity: outbound phone calls, e-mail, Facebook and LinkedIn messaging along with other forms of outbound communication
  • Actively cross-sell appropriate banking products to new and existing clients
  • Manage sales process through CRM from Salesforce to account onboarding on JHA
  • Organize, coordinate and implement targeted outreach to prospective clients resulting from concerted marketing efforts
  • Call on prospects, referral sources and centers of influence to achieve personal revenue goal by leveraging Virtus Bank's products and services
  • Continually monitor practices of competition and report findings to management when appropriate
  • Decipher complex needs and deliver appropriate solutions to financially sophisticated individuals

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet assigned deadlines
  • Self starter who can manage day-to-day activities through disciplined self management 


Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements

  • Previous sales experience and ability to meet quarterly sales goals
  • Comfortable in outbound sales; cold calling environment
  • Customer service experience, working with affluent high net worth clientele 
  • College degree


  • Knowledge of Jack Henry banking products
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM program 
  • Previous banking experience in a customer facing role
  • Private banking experience 


Job Functions & Work Environment:


While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, telephone, copiers, etc.
