We are looking for an AVP Tech Lead Lending Products to be responsible for development and ownership of our Bank’s Lending Applications that will service multiple endpoints including browser, mobile and 3rd party integrations.   The Tech Lead will collaborate with management to ensure the vision of the products are realized and call upon best practice to create a best in class lending technology platform including strong consideration for leading edge Fin Tech objects, security and versioning. Finally, the Tech Lead will ensure it is easy to use and accessible to both internal developers and external customers.   This requires a customer service oriented approach with technical end users to ensure successful implementation of our product.

  • Advanced Restful Web Services and specifically Microsoft Web API
  • 7+ years' experience with .NET Full stack would also be helpful as you will be working on projects that make use of the entire stack
  • Expert Level C#, ASP.NET MVC
  • Experience securing APIs 
  • Understanding of SSL it's costs and how to implement
  • Experience with VSTS, JIRA or equivalent
  • Knowledge of client side development techniques that utilize HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience with client side development tools such as Bootstrap, SPA Frameworks and JavaScript Libraries (Angular, Node.js)
  • Strong knowledge of relational database theory including ORMs such as Entity Framework
  • Strong Visual Studio 2013+ skills including NuGet, NPM, Swagger
  • Comfort working in an Agile, team driven environment
  • Firm understanding of the fundamentals of requirement specification, design, coding, and testing of business applications systems using Agile development methodologies

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

 

  • Experience designing a commercial FinTech products with emphasis in Secured and Unsecured Lending and Mortgaging
  • Working with both internal and external developers to create an elegant application that is both usable and extendable

  • A proven track record of delivering solutions.   Mostly, delivering requirements (PBI's) that is assigned to you with a high percentage of user acceptance
  • A thorough understanding of separation of concerns, and how to implement them into solutions that will require seamless development and design
  • Experience working through software projects end to end, from inception to deployment including participating in all aspects of the process
  • Experience in a multi-tier development environment including QA and production environments and the best practices involved with developing and promoting code in these environments
  • Strong background in software design including Sequence Diagram and like design objects

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer systems engineering or software engineering preferred
