BofI Federal Bank is looking for a data-driven Marketing Specialist to coordinate and manage a variety of marketing campaigns and activities across marketing channels. The Marketing Specialist will work as part of the dynamic and fast-paced marketing department. We are looking for a self-starter who takes ownership of his or her duties, drives profitability of campaigns, and executes with rapid precision.

  • Coordinate and execute marketing plans for our lending division, both digital (organic and paid) and print
  • Partner with external data vendors to help identify targeted audiences
  • Create, maintain and update a calendar which outlines all marketing activities
  • Coordinate the content, messaging, design and production of SEO, PPC, retargeting, email, direct mail, website content, print ads, and videos with internal team members and external vendors
  • Manage and track campaign deadlines, performance metrics including acquisition cost, budget and ROI
  • Prepare presentations and dashboards for management and marketing team highlighting campaign performance and tracking business goals
  • Coordinate customer experience driven initiatives and report on status
  • Ensure brand identity and consistency

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements

  • Exceptional written and oral communications
  • Experience using Adobe Create Suite
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Knowledge of digital tools (Google Analytics, Google Adwords a plus)
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, Velocify)
  • Knowledge of marketing automation programs, Marketo preferred
  • Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
  • Self-directed, ability to prioritize work, able to flourish in a fast-paced environment

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of developing and running successful email, digital and traditional marketing campaigns
  • Exceptionally high quality standards and attention to detail
  • Experience performing analysis (AB testing) and utilizing data analytics to drive strategies

Preferred:

  • Experience in financial services
  • Knowledge with online marketing, PPC, retargeting, social media, SEO and print experience

Job Functions & Work Environment:
