We are looking for an FVP Commercial Banking to be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee Commercial Banking Division, developing and implementing strategic initiatives to grow deposits and fee income
  • Proactively solicit new Commercial Banking client relationships, focusing on deposit and fee income growth
  • Promote Cash Management products and services, and actively lead product customization efforts to better service our clients
  • Lead a team of senior RMs in client development and deposit growth
  • Focus in industries with high level of payments activity, including third-party senders (TPPPs), property managers, etc
  • Work with our IT group to continue to develop better cash-management solutions for our clients
  • Own our Commercial Banking area policies and procedures and lead the relationship with compliance and BSA
  • Responsible for outbound sales activity: direct calling, outbound phone calls, e-mail, trade conferences
  • Actively cross-sell appropriate banking products to new and existing clients
  • Build and manage effective referral relationships with internal business partners (C&I lending, CRE lending, SFR lending)
  • Work effectively with Marketing team to develop, launch, and manage targeted sales campaigns
  • Continually monitor practices of competition and report findings to management, when appropriate
  • Develop a referral network of industry professionals

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial banking. Strong sales orientation
  • Extensive knowledge of treasury management solutions
  • 10 years of experience in a supervisory role in a fast paced organization
  • Track record of fact-based analysis, and communication to support senior decision making
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or related field from a highly respected university
