BofI Federal Bank (NASDAQ: BOFI) is an innovative FDIC insured bank providing a variety of financial services and has been headquartered in San Diego, California since 1999. The Research department is currently accepting resumes to bring forth temporary, part-time Information Validation Specialists.  This is an entry level, fast paced position that supports the departments' efforts around underwriting data collections.  The typical day of an Information Validation Specialist entails working a 5 hour shift between the hours of 9:30 AM & 7:00 PM making 60+ outbound computer dialed calls and listening to a computer generated system, and documenting information from an automated phone system. The Research department is provided with privileged and specialized tools to provide more than probable accuracy on data to ensure success.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Updating Salesforce records with new information
  • Organize, manage, upload important documents
  • Ensuring data quality procedures are enforced

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management platforms
  • Ability to focus on details while multitasking in a fast paced environment
  • Enhanced understanding of internet based search options
  • Comprehensive listening skills
  • Call Center environment experience necessary

 

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Functions & Work Environment:

 

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, telephone, copiers, etc.
