The Loan Servicing Analyst is responsible for day to day loan servicing activities, customer service, and adherence to all corporate and regulatory guidelines. 


A data analyst collects and stores data on sales numbers, market research, logistics, linguistics, or other behaviors. They bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of that data, then process, design and present it in ways to help people, businesses, and organizations make better decisions.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing users and user roles
  • Providing quality assurance of imported data; working with quality assurance analyst if necessary
  • Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines
  • Helping develop reports and analysis
  • Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata
  • Supporting loan servicing in identifying and revising reporting requirements
  • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization
  • Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems
  • Generating reports from single or multiple systems
  • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports
  • Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems
  • Training end users on new reports and dashboards
  • Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

  • 2 years data mining experience
  • 4 years in a data analyst role
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Includes the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write correspondence and procedures, and speak clearly to customers and employees
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize objectives


Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:


  • Work experience as a data analyst or in related field
  • Ability to assess potential risks
  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering or relevant work experience 


  • Direct loan servicing, real estate or commercial loan experience, up to five years
  • Knowledge of Jack Henry Banking system
  • Business analytical skills; programming experience  



Job Functions & Work Environment:


While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, telephone, copiers, etc.
