We are looking for a New Account Specialist to support our Deposit Operations Group.  This New Account Specialist will help in various areas of Deposit Operations, including: new accounts, daily processing, loss prevention, research/adjustments and electronic banking.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Boarding and review of new accounts
  • Account vesting changes
  • File maintenance
  • Respond to Service Events in a timely manner
  • Customer research requests

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of back office banking processes
  • Superior customer service skills; ability to establish rapport
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
  • Fundamental knowledge of banking regulations

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

  • 2 years banking experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Basic teller transactions and cash handling
  • High School diploma with some college and/or technical education preferred

 

 

Job Functions and Work Environment:

 

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, telephone, copiers, etc.
