The Loan Servicing Representative is responsible for day to day loan servicing activities, customer service, and adherence to all corporate and regulatory guidelines. 

 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Customer inquiries, research requests, and related correspondence
  • Follow up on aged trailing documents
  • Department filing and record keeping
  • Communicating with Title companies, Attorneys, Escrow offices etc.
  • Electronic loan file maintenance
  • Review and documentation of job related processes and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize objectives
  • Experience, knowledge, and training in Bank operational activities and terminology
  • Skills in PC operation, including: Word processing, spreadsheets and specialty software programs
  • Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

  • 2 years of customer service experience

Preferred:

  • Direct loan servicing, real estate, or commercial loan experience
  • Knowledge of Jack Henry banking systems

 

Job Functions & Work Environment:

 

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, telephone, copiers, etc.
