We are looking for a Business Analyst to be responsible for the following:


  • Develop dashboards using SQL to support Deposit Operations in reporting and monitoring functions
  • Create ad-hoc analysis in order to analyze key business issues
  • Utilize expertise to gather pertinent data and perform regression and other statistical analyses to help identify meaningful data relationships, Key Performance Indicators, and Key Risk Indicators
  • Attain deep knowledge of bank databases to retrieve and filter information as needed to support business unit analysis and decision-making
  • Recognize opportunities to automate processes for optimization and efficiencies
  • Identify and recommend data improvement opportunities
  • Support customer data integration efforts across all lines of business with hands-on technical involvement in testing, scrubbing, and cleansing of data
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain queries in MS SQL Server Management Studio 2008/2012
  • Create advanced reporting and analysis through Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 server side development including (SSIS, SSRS, SSMS)
  • Ability to write SQL queries to answer the business ad hoc requests
  • Proficient in creating SSRS/SSIS package, API programs, and procedures
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience creating Tableau dashboards
  • Excellent written and oral communications
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Self-directed and able to flourish in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with marketing automation and web analytics software packages
  • Strong logical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

  • SQL experienced
  • 1+ year in a Business Analyst role
  • Competent in creating complex queries involving multiple-table joins, union, sub-queries, CTE, temporary tables, outer apply/cross apply
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or Mathematics
