As we continue to grow, we have openings for QA Automation and Performance Engineers within IT that we are currently hiring. The Performance Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation and execution of performance test solutions for world class banking products.

 

The candidate for this role will create infrastructure, automation and tools that drive realistic loads against the core services of banking software.

 

The candidate should have a strong background in web application benchmarking, performance analysis, and capacity management with a passion for building and applying tools that measure the characteristics of complex systems running under dynamic, real-world loads.

 

This position involves working in a fast-paced, innovative environment that allows direct influence on the organization and its products’ design. 

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical problem solving skills

  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle processes

  • Solid hands-on QA experience with proven analytical and testing skills

  • Experience analyzing requirements for ambiguity and testability

  • Hands-on experience in writhing code using Selenium or equivalent tools for .NET based test automation

  • Familiarity with HTTP protocol and web service technologies (e.g. REST/SOAP)

  • Familiarity with source control and collaboration technologies (TFS, Jira)

  • Demonstrated success in delivering and reporting processes test planning and optimized results; ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Motivated self-starter, with a high capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to detail

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree in related field or equivalent experience

  • 5 + years writing and executing scripts for applications, using automation tools

  • Strong experience with performance and stress testing tools and approaches for driving realistic customer simulations; modern performance modeling tools; C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5 and CSS

  • Experience with hierarchical databases and relational databases (MS SQL, etc) plus optimizing web content for automation readiness

  • Applied knowledge of software development and manual testing

  • Understanding of and ability to perform in an Agile environment

  • Team player, highly organized with excellent people skills

Preferred:

  • Automated API testing
