We are looking for an entry level Business and Technology Analyst to join a team providing decision analytics to the senior lending team. 

This role will have the opportunity to work on projects in lending and the technology supporting lending.    

  • Create and maintain complex SQL reports for use by management and production staff
  • Analyze operational, sales and marketing efficiency
  • Provide in-depth data analysis reports included in the Management Accountability Packages (MAPs)
  • Analyze current methods to determine efficiency gaps and areas for possible enhancements
  • Maintenance of lending processes and procedures for internal controls

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to data transformation, functions/expressions, VBA, Macros
  • Capacity for advanced problem solving and critical thinking
  • Familiarity with business cycles, both fiscal and calendar

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Statistics or related course experience in mathematics / statistics / computer science / accounting
  • Experience modeling complex datasets in order to resolve an outstanding problem
  • Participation in outside case studies or external projects

Preferred:

  • 1+ years working in office environment; new grads considered
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL coding language a plus
  • Experience researching complex problems and arriving at a viable solution
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Basic knowledge / understanding of the mortgage business

 

Job Functions & Work Environment:
