BofI Federal Bank is seeking a Senior Business Analyst who will be responsible for providing support to a fast-paced Technology & Operations department.
The role will require the candidate to have skills to document and assess operational processes, as well as formulate improvement opportunities and successfully implementing.
Job responsibilities include:
Analyze and identify business challenges and opportunities, and solve for them using fact based analysis to make strategic, tactical, and risk-based recommendations
Collaborate effectively with management and staff both within and outside Tech and Ops, as well as vendors, to ensure impact on both upstream, downstream, and across company activities, and ensure regulatory compliance
Document detail requirements, analyze financials (investment and benefits), assess systems, assess any regulatory impacts, and present to senior management
Gather, assess, and report data to establish metrics and on-going benefits tracking
Effectively and efficiently manage and report on agreed-to initiatives to completion
Strong logical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to prepare presentations to senior management
Ability to write SQL queries to answer business ad hoc requests, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Self-directed, disciplined, well-organized, and able to flourish in a fast-paced environment
Track record of fact based communication to support senior decision making
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, and/or Operational Management from a highly recognized university
