Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead out in our campus recruiting for our Internship and more junior positions attracting the best and the brightest 
  • Ambassador and champion of the Bank's culture and values
  • Work closely with HR team and managers to ensure all team members are in compliance with policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations
  • Develop a solid understanding of the organizational structure, all functions in the Bank, and the Bank's culture and values, to efficiently focus on developing a pipeline of desirable talent for the San Diego and Las Vegas markets
  • Understand the capabilities and characteristics of high performers in open positions and develop interview techniques to differentiate between high and low performing Candidates
  • Utilize all available networks in the market, to ensure available positions are filled quickly and economically
  • Continue to develop and implement creative initiatives to attract A-talent
  • Manage the Bank's recruitment process from open position to hire, including interviewing, testing, reference checking, etc., of all Candidates
  • Train Hiring Managers on Bank's Recruitment and HR policies and procedures
  • Travel if needed (up to 10%)

  • Strong  interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and positively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Critical thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Choice to work in a fast paced, demanding environment; able to handle competing priorities
  • Ability to maintain the necessary confidentiality
  • Strong Microsoft suite skills
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and create deep relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Individual with a genuine emotional investment in work, and the dedication required to be successful
  • Organizational skills; the ability to manage multiple initiatives, constantly
  • Detail oriented
  • Mental acumen with a large dose of common sense
  • Proven ability to "manage up" and promote accountability

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

 

  • 3+ years demonstrated successful direct recruiting experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organization
  • Exceptional project management skills, communication with stakeholders and delivery of projects on time using an ATS and/or CRM system
  • Relevant experience preferably in an Agency and HR or workforce function
  • Process improvement initiatives with significant, measurable benefits
  • Innovative ideas that transition to substantial shifts in thinking and behavior
  • Ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in related field

Preferred:

  • Banking and/or financial services experience  
  • LinkedIn Recruiter and/or iCIMS experience
  • Effective social media usage
  • Experience placing entry level positions

 

 

Job Functions & Work Environment:

 

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, telephone, copiers, etc.
