We are looking for an experienced, hands‐on Scrum Master / Project Manager  to do the following:


  • Lead, coach and leverage the Scrum framework blended with SDLC artifacts as appropriate
  • Deliver the highest level of customer collaboration, project delivery and satisfaction while minimizing overhead
  • Create, manage and report on project plans, scope plans, resource plans, schedules, milestones, risk, issues and mitigations
  • Plan, lead, guide, document and execute backlog grooming, story development, sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review and retro meetings
  • Manage day‐to‐day operational aspects of multiple assigned projects and scrum teams
  • Proactively apply critical thinking to identify, mitigate and resolve complex risks and issues
  • Review business analysis, process mapping, and business requirements to support business and IT projects
  • Ensure project objectives conform to business unit's overall standards, operational objectives, user requirements, and clients' needs
  • Develop and continually improve relationships within both IT and the Business
  • Negotiate, set, and clarify commitments and expectations by working with both IT and the Business
  • Identify and remove impediments, delivery conflicts and minimize distractions
  • Promote effective internal and external communication, ensure transparency, and disseminate information appropriately
  • Facilitate the prioritization and resolution of defects
  • Ensure optimum utilization of resources and management of budgetary targets to meet goals
  • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
  • Ensure projects are delivered successfully, on time and within budget
  • Exercise change management best practices to help organizations manage change
  • Work with local and remote business teams to identify, evaluate and validate recommendations for business process improvements
  • Participate proactively in developing and improving Scrum and Project Management processes and tools
  • Identify team training opportunities

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

  • 2 + years hands‐on software development Scrum Master experience
  • 5 + years of hands‐on technology Project Management experience
  • Previous proven experience managing numerous cross‐functional, project teams
  • High degree of people skills ﴾uilding relationships﴿in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
  • Experience contributing to, and leading, software development, systems integration, and project process improvements
  • Experience coaching and leading teams –not just managing the work
  • Excellent communications skills, ability to work with diverse personality types
  • Excellent ability to develop and continually improve working relationships
  • Must be self‐motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time‐critical problems
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Must be highly motivated, self‐starter, strong collaborator, and completely dependable and accountable
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, TFS, Visio, and SharePoint

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or information systems
  • CSM certification required
  • Consumer facing software development project experience
  • TFS backlog creation, management & reporting
  • Hands on MS Project creation and management



  • PMP  certification
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification 
  • Experience in a financial banking environment 


Job Functions & Work Environment:
