    We are seeking a Business Analyst who will be responsible for leading a variety of products from conception to production. The Business Analyst will conduct requirements analysis and define and document workflows to develop detailed functional specifications and use cases. The role is the primary liaison between the technical team and business stakeholders.  Thus, ideal candidates will need to be comfortable communicating on a detailed level with a wide range of colleagues and be very adept at breaking down complex business needs into manageable, deliverable, bite-size chunks that can be consumed by a technical audience.


    Additionally, candidates must be autonomous, demonstrate leadership and have an ability to drive projects forward. Candidates will be expected to identify blockers, requirements gaps and other constraints and help lead the team to overcome these impediments, which will often require the candidate to think outside of the box.

    Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

    • Worked in software delivery teams
    • Ability to work with key business stakeholders and quickly learn and understand business needs
    • Experience engaging with software development teams in the practices and technologies relevant to the business
    • Ability to work in fast paced and dynamic development environment
    • Good decision making and problem resolution skills with strong attention to detail
    • Good team and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally, must be influential
    • Proven thought leader who understands how to prioritize which requirements provide the highest business value; ability to perform cost benefit analysis
    • Experience in clarifying objectives, dealing with ambiguity/under-defined problems, advocating for simplification, and influencing teams
    • Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software to market

    Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

    • Experience with object-oriented design and coding skills across a variety of platforms
    • Experience on software development teams engaging in modern Agile development practices
    • Ability to understand of normalized data structures
    • Ability to understand API-based architectures
    • Ability to get into the code with team members to help drive to solutions
    • Deep understanding of the banking and/or financial services industries
    • Solid writing skills and ability to communicate both upwards (simplification) and downwards (technical)


    Nice to Haves:


    • Some familiarity with SQL, data analysis, and report writing
    • Experience leading the development of .NET products
    • Experience leading the development of Salesforce and SharePoint products
    • Familiarity with UML, use case generation, and other modeling techniques and methods
