Planning & Development
Strong knowledge of Lending Underwriting principals and ability to apply critical thinking techniques to department audits
Knowledge of all lending related regulations
Flexible and able to work on multiple projects that may require restructuring due to shifting demands and changing priorities within mid-large size bank
Ability to identify and define problems with documentation, loan origination systems, internal processes and procedures; research and analyze information and various situations relating to data management issues
Exhibit high levels of attention to detail
Capable of recommending alternatives or solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills to include presentation skills
Work well independently
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Windows and network environments
2+ years experience in banking/mortgage/audit/regulatory compliance
2+ years of Lending Underwriting experience (Consumer or Commercial)
Loan level documentation review and transaction analysis experience
Bachelor's degree preferably in business or related area, or equivalent business experience
