  • Description:

    • Supervises the Bankruptcy banking unit
    • Responsible for providing (and ensuring the team provides) exceptional service to our trustee clients
    • Plays an integral role in meeting requirements of bankruptcy banking processing and quarterly reporting to the DOJ
    • Supervises and coordinates various activities within the unit as they relate to the support of Trustee and Fiduciary Services and their current/future clients
    • Advises supervisor regarding the status of work-in-process, pending, and completed work on a consistent basis along with any problem situations in a timely manner with the corrective action implemented
    • Helps select staff plus supervises, trains and coaches team along with creating and monitoring specific and measurable goals for team members
    • Maintains a positive work environment
    • Evaluates team members' performance, counsels, and conducts performance reviews ensuring process maps and procedures are complete and current
    • Submits Continuous Improvement Ideas
    • Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations
    • Performs other related duties as needed

    Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

    • Requires a strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to bankruptcy, including the ability to determine the impact of new and changing regulations
    • Consistently demonstrates ability to provide exceptional service to clients
    • Ability to gain the confidence of people, understand their needs/problems, and provide satisfactory solutions/explanations
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including the ability to reconcile and clear outstanding items

    Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

    • Bankruptcy or paralegal experience
    • 2+ years’ experience providing processing support to Bankruptcy clients
    • 5+ years banking experience
    • Experience in handling and analyzing data flow through multiple systems
    • Technical proficiency in banking operations and back-office processing
    • Bachelor's degree


    Job Functions & Work Environment:


    While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, telephone, copiers, etc.
