    The Lead QA Analyst works closely with software engineers, business analysts, and other Trustee and Fiduciary Services team members to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects to verify problem fixes in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner. The Lead QA Analyst will assist the Product Development Manager with the direction of QA processes, tools, standards and techniques while performing as an individual contributor across the various QA efforts.  The Lead QA Analyst will support, coach and mentor other QA staff to built collective QA team member knowledge, ability and efficiency. 

    • Develops and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test cases
    • Performs manual and automated testing of applications
    • Executes tests to compare results with requirements, to verify test requirements, to identify defects, and to ensure compliance
    • Review functional and design specifications of stories to derive use cases and test plans
    • Write test scripts and test cases to achieve identified quality assurance objectives
    • Logs defects in a detailed, understandable and reproducible manner, and tracks defects through to closure by working closely with the development team
    • Executes and evolves Quality Assurance best practices that promote the elimination or reduction of software defects
    • Takes an active role in developing and disseminating internal QA standards and best practices
    • Participate in Scrum project activities including backlog grooming, story development, sprint planning
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

     

    Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

     

    • 7+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience
    • 3+ years of test automation experience
    • 3+ years of performance test experience
    • Previous  experience supporting cross-functional quality assurance initiatives
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and processes
    • Excellent communications skills, ability to work with diverse personality types
    • Excellent ability to develop and continually improve working relationships
    • Strong quality and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
    • Must be highly motivated, creative, efficient, self-starter, strong collaborator, and completely dependable and accountable
    • Experience with test automation tools, performance test tools, VSTS, BSQL tools
    • Demonstrated ability to produce results in complex environments
    • Good client and stakeholder management skills, including expectation and scope management

     

    Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

     

    • SCRUM Team Participation
    • SCRUM QA development and refinement
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or information systems

    Preferred:

    • CSQA
    • CSQE

     

    Job Functions and Work Environment:
