    We are seeking a Digital Marketing: Marketing Automation Specialist to work with our Digital Marketing team. This position will report directly to the VP Marketing Automation and work directly with the marketing automation and email team to support the integration of Marketo, and the migration of current email campaigns from SalesForce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target) to Marketo, as well as the user initiated sends and Exact Target send that have not migrated. This will include assisting in the building of new email templates, as well as the migration of static, triggered, drip and nurture emails within the current system.  

     

    Daily responsibilities will include:

     

    • Work closely with the current Email Marketing Specialist on day-to-day marketing activities including but not limited to email template set up, campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deploying campaigns
    • Creates email templates in HTML/CSS
    • Creates email templates in responsive design
    • Monitors results for designing the next test and implement winning strategies across other email campaigns
    • Creates reports  for monitoring email campaigns

    Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

    • HTML/CSS specifically for email design and coding
    • Knowledge of email integrity and deliverability problems/solutions
    • Knowledge of platform testing and implementation
    • Knowledge of multivariate test setups to measure incremental value of email campaigns (A/B, splits, engagement, etc…)
    • Knowledge of responsive email design and column layouts
    • Knowledge of transaction email and automation

    Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

    • 1 to 2 years working with email marketing or equivalent experience
    • Experience working with Marketo and/or Exact Target
    • Experience in coding email templates (HTML/CSS)
    • Experience in list management, CAN-SPAM compliance, and authentication/sender programs to improve email delivery
    • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
    • High School Diploma required

     

    Preferred:

    •  College degree in related field and/or Professional Certification
    •  Experience with CRM email programs (SalesForce) 
      

    Job Functions and Work Environment:
