    We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist within the procurement function reporting to the FVP, Procurement and Contracts to be responsible for sourcing new vendors and performing vendor related monitoring, reporting and analytical functions in relation to performance and risk. This includes assessing vendor capabilities, sourcing opportunities and providing new vendor implementation support.  

    Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

    • Coordinate with business unit relationship managers to complete vendor risk assessments and vendor performance requirements
    • Maintain proper compliance documentation and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, rules, policies and procedures
    • Manage contract negotiations
    • Oversee the coordination and execution of vendor deliverables
    • Establish and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards and metrics
    • Track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance
    • Identify improvement areas and implement solutions and/or recommend solutions
    • Work with subject matter experts to provide best in class customer service and risk evaluations
    • Negotiate Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work
    • Collaborative mindset and customer service mentality
    • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
    • Experience working across a diverse set of stakeholders with positive results
    • Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally
    • Ability to work independently
    • Display good organizational skills, and professional interpersonal skills and presentation capabilities
    • Experience managing vendor relationships internally and externally

    Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree Business, Economics, or Finance
    • 5+ years of equivalent experience

    Preferred:

    • Previous vendor management experience 

     

    Job Functions & Work Environment:
