  • Description:

    • Provide day​-to-day ownership of the Enterprise Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence platforms, solutions and teams
    • Develop, maintain, and deliver on the strategy and tactical roadmap for the evolution of the Enterprise Data Warehouse and ​​Business Intelligence solutions (one year and three year views)
    • Proactive drive adoption of data and BI solutions across the bank, and develop reporting to demonstrate adoption and impact of solutions
    • ​​Foster consultative and collaborative relationships with Business Unit leaders to provide proactive identification of opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of data processes and business intelligence solutions
    • Continually expand personal and enterprise knowledge of the Salesforce suite of systems; research innovations for review ​and/or adoption by the Bank
    • Understand the Bank's diverse business units and strategic initiatives; ensure capacity is anticipated and enterprise perspective is considered
    • Develop and maintain complete and current governance and project management documentation, and system architecture documentation
    • Develop BI and dashboard best practices and training materials for citizen data and reporting analysts
    • Ensure the project management and development protocols and processes are adhered to by the CoE team

    Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

    • Technical savvy with the ability to "speak business" to stakeholders​
    • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts, both verbally and written​
    • Recent experience managing, coaching and motivating a team of developers and vendor resources
    • Must be flexible, able to work on multiple projects that may require restructuring due to shifting demands, unforeseen events and changing priorities. ​
    • Ability to handle complexity in a fast-moving innovative multi-billion $ bank
    • Experience working within all phases of the SDLC in a team-oriented, fast paced, complex environment using the following:
    • SQL Server 2012 or higher
    • SSIS or similar ETL tool
    • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for SQL query development
    • Tableau
    • ​Self-motivated, flexible, resourceful and able to navigate the organization to accomplish Bank, department and individual goals with a positive can-do and 'no job too small' attitude
    • Ability to prioritize among competing resources, think big picture and constantly visualize the end user experience and business impact
    • Stays current with technology to develop innovative solutions for the business
    • Customer Focused: Is relentless about understanding internal and external customers' needs and meeting and exceeding their expectations; drives to have our clients win

    Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

    • ​5+ years of experience in a data intensive leadership role with high frequency delivery, preferably in Financial Services. ​ 
    • Experience in working with senior management to align strategies and solutions
    • Experience in designing and delivering data solutions to meet business objectives utilizing best practices and creative problem solving
    • Deep understanding of modern data warehousing and business intelligence technology and best practices
    • Experience building enterprise wide solutions and proactively driving adoption
    • ​Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
    • Masters Degree in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, or Data Science preferred.
