    • Develop assessment reports
    • Maintain proper change management documentation for all hardware and software modifications
    • Designs, monitors and modifies all storage related technologies
    • Schedules and performs storage installations and maintenance
    • Installs, configures and tests storage management software and hardware
    • Supports SAN fabric using Brocade, Cisco FI, and consults with network team on UCS and Cisco switches including monitoring of usage and troubleshooting; Installs, configures and maintains Fabric management hardware and software
    • Performs system capacity analysis and planning to ensure storage management system operation and resource utilization optimization
    • Design, support, & monitor on Enterprise Backups, including backup reporting, trending and historical analysis
    • Provides efficient and reliable storage allocation and defines backup, recovery, archival procedures
    • Possesses skills and knowledge related to network, operating systems, Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS) in a Large Enterprise Environment
    • Develop and implement standards and operating procedures
    • Provide reliable 24/7 support for all the facilities within client's service territory
    • Report progress to supervisor and project managers, including the preparation of weekly status reports
    • Ensure all IT equipment complies with industry and regulatory standards
    • Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve faults in Storage Area Networks
    • Ensure routine preventative maintenance and license compliance is performed
    • Maintain relationship with vendors, consultants and ensure that network standards and deliverables are met
    • Produce reports and perform additional tasks as assigned

    Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:


    • Experience with EMC, Hitachi and other storage systems
    • Experience with block and file level storage systems
    • Experience with network based storage protocols including Fiber Channel, iSCSI, NFS & SMB
    • Experience with storage replication technologies
    • Experience with Enterprise Backup products: Data Domain, CommVault, Backup & Recovery, Microsoft SQL
    • XtremIO array, Migration skilled knowledge from diverse EMC/Hitachi arrays

    Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

    • 3 years of  experience managing enterprise storage
    • DevOps implementation
    • High School Diploma required
    • Must have 3-4 years minimum experience administering SAN environment


    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
    • EMC/Hitachi Certification  or Extensive SAN experience
    • Experience with virtualizing and managing IT infrastructures, utilizing VMware Virtualization and VMware vSphere management tools
